This trail also known as Sendero Las Salinas, follows the coast from Las Arenas Beach to the town of Buenavista del Norte. It’s an easy walk, perfect for children, beginners, and even strollers.
A Relaxing Walk From Las Arenas Beach
Las Arenas beach has a large parking lot, making it easy to park. From the beach, follow the path along the ocean towards the town pool.
The path offers beautiful views of the sea, the rocks and the natural pools. The pool is a great alternative if the ocean is too rough for a swim.
Nearby, there’s a small green area with an outdoor gym and an artificial stream—perfect for kids to splash around in.

The Sendero Las Salinas trail is a real gem, so don’t miss it if you’re in the area.
Finishing Up in Buenavista
If the kids still have energy, like ours our did, there’s a playground in Buenavista. They can burn off the last of it.
Short Trail Alternative
If you don’t have enough time or for other reasons, you can take a short walk, go to the other side, and end up at Charcos Las Mujeres. There you can swim in a natural pool, and the view is also beautiful.
